SpyScan ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
Information We Collect
SpyScan is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data:
- Device sensor data (magnetometer, camera) is processed locally and never transmitted
- Scan results are stored only on your device
- Purchase and subscription information is processed by Apple and RevenueCat to manage access to premium features
- If you interact with an Apple Ads campaign, Apple may provide a privacy-preserving AdServices attribution token so we can measure campaign performance
- We do not collect personal information, location data, or browsing history
How We Use Information
All inspection tools work entirely on your device. We use:
- Magnetometer data to display magnetic-field measurements and relative changes
- Camera access to inspect bright spots and possible near-infrared sources
- Network information to list reachable local-network devices and services
Sensor readings, camera observations, local-network details, and scan history are processed locally and are not transmitted to external servers.
Data Storage
Scan history and app preferences are stored locally on your device using secure storage. This data is not accessible to us or any third parties. You can delete this data at any time by uninstalling the app.
Third-Party Services
We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, entitlements, and Apple Ads attribution. RevenueCat may process an anonymous app user identifier, subscription and transaction information, and an Apple AdServices attribution token. RevenueCat uses the token to request privacy-preserving campaign, ad group, and keyword attribution data from Apple.
We use this information to understand subscription performance and measure our Apple Ads campaigns. We do not use it to serve personalized ads or track you across apps or websites, and SpyScan does not request access to the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) for this purpose. Children's Privacy
SpyScan is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date.
